The Bierzo tourist brand was born from the strategic necessity to institutionalize the region of the Bierzo as a tourist place and, also, to include it within the public opinion. The whole purpose of the project is to be able to combine the synergy among a diversity of tourist agents and elements from the region in order to reach a uniform image throughout all the promotional activities created for the new campaign "The essence of the North East".
The Bierzo, geographically located on the north east of Spain, is at the crossroads among St James' way and Carlos III Royal way and the Silver way (Las Medulas). It is also strategically located among Galicia, Asturias and Castile, creating a cultural and landscape intersection which results on a unique and special mixture. The design used for this job uses tree branches to symbolised the meeting point where all the crossroads join, bringing up all the cultural, natural and traditional richness of the area.
In conjunction with the brand design it was also created a corporate identity manual including all its applications.
